This House Believes Private Schools Are a Public Disaster


World-renowned for its historic private schools, the British education system has been responsible for the education of many of the country's political and industry leaders.  But is it possible to reconcile the existence and prominence of these elitist institutions with our ideal of education as a fundamental tool for social mobility?  Are private schools, in fact, a disaster for the British public?
