  • Simon Evans  -  Veteran stand-up comedian, Evans has written for countless TV shows such as Not Going Out and Eight out of Ten Cats.
  • Ava Vidal  -  A former prison guard who was inspired by Chris Rock to turn to stand-up comedy, Vidal has appeared in Mock the Week and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow
  • Katy Wix  -  A Welsh actress and comedian, she is probably best kown as Daisy in the BBC One sitcom Not Going Out, or as Rhiannon Davies in Torchwood

Speakers in Opposition:

  • Piers Corbyn  -  Older brother of Jeremy Corbyn and owner of a forecast company WeatherAction. Between 1986 and 1990, he served as a Labour councillor.
  • Kate Smurthwaite  -  A stand-up comedian by trade, she has been publicly outspoken as a radical activist on topics such as politics, gender and religion.
  • John Thomson  -  Best known for starring in The Fast Show, Men Behaving Badly and Cold Feet, Thomson has also take on radio roles for the BBC
