- Stephen Hale OBE - Formerly a director of Oxfam International, Hale currently serves as Chief Executive of Refugee Action, a charity supporting refugee rights
- Major Gen Jonathan Shaw CBE - During a 32 year career in the army, he served as Director Special Forces (2003-06) having had experience overseeing operations in the Falklands, Iraq and Afghanistan

- Baroness Tina Stowell - A Conservative peer, Baroness Stowell served as Leader of the House of Lords between 2014 and 2016 topping off a 25 year career in government and media
- Tim Newark - Author, historian and political commentator; in 2014 his book Protest Vote was published to critical acclaim, anticipating the spectacular rise of populism over the last year
