Though we may not yet have achieved the flying cars and hoverboards of Back to the Future, the transport industry has seen huge technological advancements. From the acceleration in electric and self-driving cars, to prototype technologies such as Hyperloop, and even interplanetary travel with SpaceX, this decade heralds an exciting time for the travel industry. Now, as society faces depleting fossil fuels, the looming threat of climate change, and the challenges posed by COVID-19, evolution is needed faster than ever. What our future years hold in the world of transport is hard to predict, but one thing is for sure – it’s gonna be a hell of a ride.
